A guide to three positions, five sweet shapes and eight attempts.
Cycle each position
Tap a guess slot to move through the five sweets. Build a three-sweet combination, then select Check combination. The secret can contain the same sweet more than once.
Understand exact
An exact count means a sweet has both the correct identity and the correct position. Three exact matches solve the code. Keep that distinction in mind before moving a promising sweet elsewhere.
Understand elsewhere
This count refers to correct sweets in the wrong positions after exact matches are accounted for. Repeated sweets are counted only as often as they exist in the secret. The clues are totals, not arrows pointing to individual slots.
Compare the log
Each checked guess is added to the visible history. Changing one part of a guess at a time can make the next clue easier to interpret. You have eight checked attempts in a round.
Finish or reset
The code is shown when the attempt limit is reached. New sweet code begins a fresh round, and a reload clears the current history. No payment, prize or online profile is involved.
